Rooted

Currently in the creation stage, Rooted is an immersive movement-based art installation inspired by the magnificent tree and swamp scene artwork of Kenneth Petro. Rooted takes you on a walk through nature to explore the importance of trees through story-telling, movement, science and art. 

 

After Kenny’s passing in 2020, choreographer and niece Evelyn Joy Hoelscher of Spaces of Fontana approached his wife and fellow artist, Brenda Petro, to collaborate to create an evening inspired by these beautiful paintings.
